Welcome to Pulmonary Medical Associates, where we have been providing compassionate and comprehensive medical treatment for patients throughout Northwest New Jersey since 1984. Our Specialties

 

Internal Medicine

Provide Treatment for patients with multiple medical conditions including diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiac conditions and any other conditions including infectious diseases. We provide remote patient monitoring for high blood pressure, diabetes, COPD, Obesity and heart failure.

Critical Care

Dr. Nadarajah is Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine and is well versed and knowledgeable in diagnosing and treating critically ill patients.

Pulmonary

The Practice diagnoses and treats patients with asthma, allergies pulmonary hypertension, pulmonary fibrosis and we have the capability for full lung function testing. This is important to help differentiate between different disease states. We undertake screening for lung cancer for patients who are at high risk for lung cancer that are between the ages of 55 to 80 who have a history of smoking for 25 years.

Sleep Disorder

Sleep apnea is a very common sleep disorder which can go undiagnosed for many years with dire consequence which include increased risk of stroke, heart attack, motor vehicle accidents. severe fatigue and excessive sleepiness in the daytime. This disease is easily diagnosed and treatable. We have the capability of performing sleep testing in the comfort of your own home and providing treatment. If there is a need we also offer testing in our own sleep centers. We offer state of the art treatment for sleep apnea including oral appliances that are similar to retainers and unlike the old CPAP machines!
